Getting Involved

Breadcrumb

Four years at Whittier is enough time to discover new interests or expand on existing ones.

Whittier's Office of Student Engagement and Office of Equity and Inclusion are here to support you in numerous ways when it comes to getting involved, finding community, and becoming a student leader on campus.

Through its different programming branches, OSE is responsible for many of the student-centered activities on campus, from outdoor movie nights to academic field trips – and fun ones, too - to traditional special events, such as our SportsFest competitions and Dub Sync homecoming pep rally.

The OEI's programming empowers students and brings awareness, creating an environment of inclusivity on campus. Some of OEI's signature events include: Tour of Black LA, Poet Pride Drag Show, Intersectional Poetry Slam and Annual Cultural Graduations.

OSE also provides support for the 70 student clubs and organizations on campus. With so many options, you’re sure to find your niche. The question is: where to begin?
